Two St. Louis Students win top SHS International Excellence Awards for 2008

Two students, formerly of the Saint Louis Senior High School (SHS), in Kumasi, have been adjudged the overall international and national best second best candidates in the May/June 2008 West African Senior High School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
They are Miss Priscilla Asafo-Agyei, the overall best student and Miss Josephine Tsorgali, the second best.

In addition, Priscilla Asafo-Agyei was adjudged the overall best candidate in the General Science Programme in Ghana.

This was contained in a letter to the headmistress of the school, and signed by Mrs. Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, the Senior Public Affairs Officer of the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).

Three best candidates among all the best candidates from Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and the Gambia are awarded for the International Excellence Awards.
According to the letter, the Awardees will be honoured at the 57th Annual Council Meeting to be held in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on Tuesday March 17th, 2009.

Meanwhile the awardees and others who excelled in the examinations would be honoured in Accra, on Friday, February 20th, 2009.

  2. HELLO I’M EVANS OF PREMPEH COLLEGE AND I T HINK THE SCHOOL IS COOL. I THINK THE LADIES SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND PROGRAMMES IN PREMPEH COLLEGE
