Headmistress’ Desk

The exit of a batch of students always fills me with emotions of mixed feeling – some came albeit naive but at their exit have become positively imparted. As our girls are transitioning into a new phase of life after their training here, I am confident, that the values we have inculcated in them will last a lifetime.

This batch witnessed the purchase of a new generating plant for the school by the PTA. Again, we have commenced the construction of a new 18 unit classroom block under the auspices of our indefatigable PTA. We obviously are yet to complete our staff bungalow. It was worth noting that our ICT classroom was also furnished with SMART Board and more computer tables. I am glad to report that a Summer hut for the Visual Art Department (specifically for the Home Economics) was completed.

It is important to place on record that we were able to construct a modest ironing shed as well as a chop box room for our students.

Our SRC was also kind to provide pigeon-holes for the staff members at the staff room.

We cannot forget the Government of Ghana through the GETFund for hastening the pace of work on our new Science Block and Assembly Hall. Like Oliver Twist, we are also appealing to the contractor working on the new dorm to do same.

I cannot end without mentioning that we lost our Chairman of Board of Governors, in the person of Oheneba Kwame Kyerekyie, the late Apagyahene. May God preserve him till we meet again.

Thankfully, we have a fitting replacement in the person of Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah, the Asokore-Mamponhene. Nana, we warmly welcome you.

FRESH SLOPSANS, I wish you the best of God’s blessings. Go set the pace for others to follow.

MAY GOD WILL IT THAT ALL MAY BE ONE.

HARMONY, PEACE and UNITY are our ambition, because these are the prerequisites for success in life.
